Mobin Malik
Mobin is a Lecturer for our Aerospace Engineering degree programmes. Mobin joined the University of Central Lancashire while pursuing his PhD research at the University of Manchester. His area of research focuses on multiphase flow using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and is also focusing on bioinspired morphing wings. Mobin is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Mobin is the module leader for Aerospace Propulsion module (Level 6) and module tutor for remaining modules that include Aerospace Vehicle Simulation (Level 7), CAD & Simulation (Level 5) and Aerospace Vehicles (Level 4)
Mobin is a PhD researcher at the University of Manchester. His research looks into numerical modelling of an electrohydrodynamic process for nanosatellite propulsion applications. Mobin has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester for three years, supporting and leading tutorials and labs for cohorts from 7 to more than 100 students. In addition, Mobin has been a ResLife Advisor at the university halls, where he looked after students' mental health and wellbeing and organised events.
