Mel teaches on first-year modules and second and final-year Teaching Practice modules. She also teaches on some of our English Language support modules for our international students.
Mel started her first job in ELT in Spain, teaching adults and young learners. She spent 5 years in Germany teaching Business English to groups and individuals from companies including Allianz, BMW and the European Space Agency. She joined the Language Academy here in 2014, delivering short English Language courses and teaching English for Academic Purposes on the intensive and year-round pre-sessional. She joined our TESOL team in 2017 and now enjoys training undergraduates to do the job she loves.
