Khuram Shahzad
Khuram is a Lecturer in Consultancy Skills and Project Management. He is an experienced academic who has served for over 13 years in the higher education institutions of the UK, Oman, and Pakistan. His research-informed teaching delivers a comprehensive and practical understanding on a range of project management knowledge areas at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
In his current role, Khuram lectures on project management and applied management project modules to second-year MBA students. He also supervises research projects of a number of students undertaking their MSc, MRes and MBA degrees. Khuram has passion to conduct research and contribute new knowledge in his areas of interest. Recently, he presented his research work in a Gulf Research Meeting at the University of Cambridge which is now published as a book chapter in ''Challenges and Reforms in Gulf Higher Education'' by Routledge/Taylor and Francis.
Prior to joining us, Khuram served as a Senior Lecturer in Oman where he contributed to the curriculum development and delivery to the Bachelor of Project Management programme with the partner institution. He was also appointed as a head of Project Management Club to lead collaboration with the industry and enhance the graduate employability.
