Kayleigh Astley

Kayleigh, having been called to the bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, in 2010, is an Unregistered Barrister, Family Mediator and Lecturer in Law.

Kayleigh's research expertise and interests lead her to contribute to a variety of projects, from training students in advocacy and public speaking, to supporting Solicitor Apprentices in practice through our Solicitor Apprenticeship programmes.

Prior to starting with the University, Kayleigh spent a significant proportion of her early career working in a variety of legal roles, ranging from Criminal Death Penalty appeals in the USA, to costs litigation here in the Northwest.
