Joshua G Rawstron
Josh teaches across all four disciplines of nursing including undergraduate and postgraduate with a focus on clinical teaching and simulation. With an interest in emergency care and major incident planning, he provides students with real-world scenarios to prepare them for their transition to becoming Registered Practitioners.
Josh works as a Nurse Educator and personal tutor/academic assessor for student nurses in clinical practice.
Josh trained as a Student Nurse at UCLan. He once worked in the Emergency Department at a Major Trauma Centre for Lancashire providing care to patients requiring specialised treatment. Included in this, Josh has undertaken courses such as Acute Illness management critical care course (AIMS) and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNe) management. This is explored through his teaching and knowledge passed onto Student Nurses during their lectures.
