Dr Imren Waller
Imren teaches a range of subjects in Intercultural Business Communication. She has particular expertise in the area of Tourism and Mobility as well as delivering content in Human Geography and Research Methods. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Imren has published in Tourism and Mobility with a focus on Guest-Host Relations and the mobility of permanent tourists. She attends conferences in this area.
Imren has contributed to a book chapter with Routledge as well as publishing articles. She has been teaching in UK Higher Education since 2008. She has also taught the Turkish language as well her main areas of specialism around Tourism and Mobility. She has supervised a wide range of postgraduate-taught students.
Imren is a member of MIDEX. She has taught Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, and Logic in high schools.

Imren's research interests are within the area of Tourism Studies in particular the mobility of international permanent tourists from intercultural aspects with a particular emphasis on Turkey.
