Garry Cooper-Stanton
Garry is a registered adult general nurse and has worked across public, private and charitable sectors. This has led to roles within education, primary care, occupational health and lymphoedema. Garry is a Senior Teaching fellow with Advance HE and a Queen's Nurse.
Garry is Deputy Head of School for students and learning within the Nursing School.
Garry has worked in a number of roles within education including assistant professor, director of pre-registration programmes, and head of practice education. Clinical experience within nursing has included district nursing, occupational health, and more recently clinical nurse specialist in lymphoedema.

Garry's current research interests include lymphoedema as a nurse specialist, which has led to him completing his MSc in this area. This has led to him studying for his PhD in this area with a focus on men and their experiences.
