David manages a petabyte-scale distributed storage and processing platform and associated infrastructure deployed for hosting and analysis of astrophysical datasets within the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute.
David uses GlusterFS, HDFS, Spark and Hadoop to facilitate a highly available scale-out big data framework.
Before joining UCLan, David amassed extensive industry experience within the Unix/Linux and relational database technology sectors.
