Sujit has been a member of the Aerospace and Sensing research team since September 2019. In his research role, he actively engages in innovative projects aimed at advancing UAS technology. This involves collaborating with industrial partners to foster technological advancements and provide valuable business support. In his current role, Sujit works on the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and enhancing laboratory facilities for aerospace research. On the teaching front, Sujit supervises undergraduate projects, delivers lecture content, and contribute to the development of modules and practical courses.
Sujit has been a part of our Aerospace research team since 2019. Throughout his tenure, he has played a vital role in providing consultancy services for unmanned aerial solutions to industrial partners and academia. Additionally, he has made significant contributions by developing and implementing UAV platforms and research equipment, thereby enhancing research facilities and improving the overall student experience.
Prior to joining us, Sujit served as a scientific guest researcher at TU Delft in the Netherlands and Linkoping University in Sweden, where he focused on the development of bio-inspired drones with autonomous flying capabilities.
Furthermore, from 2014 to mid-2015, he worked as a UAV Project Engineer at the National Aerospace Laboratories in India, where he spearheaded the development of a drone test facility.
