As a student, you can make secure on-line payments of invoices to the University using our web payment facilities, including tuition fees which can be paid by instalments subject to the prevailing payment terms for the academic year. You can create an account and log into your UCLan finance record to view invoiced amounts and payments made to the University relating to tuition fees, rent, loans and sundry charges and all payments are reflected on the account within 24 hours.

All successful payments will be given a transaction number, which you should retain as confirmation of payment. You will also receive an email receipt of your payment. This does not usually include library charges/ details of which can be accessed separately through your library account.
If you are unable to register or make a payment through Agresso Web Payments, you will be directed to an alternative on-line payment form.

Please ensure you read these terms and conditions carefully before using this Online Payment Facility. Using the Online Payment Facility indicates that you accept these terms and conditions. Therefore, if you do not accept these terms and conditions do not use this facility.
The Online Payment Facility is provided by the University of Central Lancashire through Agresso Web Payments.
This Online Payment Facility is for payments made by, or on behalf of Students. “Student/s” means student/s registered with the University.
Payments can be made by the approved credit or debit cards illustrated by the logos displayed on this Online Payment Facility.
All prices quoted are in GBP - UK pound Sterling. The University reserves the right to change the fees at any time.
Payments can only be accepted in GBP – UK pound Sterling. Any currency conversion costs or other charges or costs incurred by you in making the payment or in processing a refund shall be borne by you, and shall not be deductible from any fees due to the University.
Payments will be applied to the Student’s University account in accordance with the details submitted electronically. The University cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct University account due to you quoting incorrect details.
The University cannot accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason. If the card supplier declines payment the University is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.
Payments are not collected by the University directly but by WorldPay (the “Service Provider”).
Once payment is received by the Service Provider in cleared funds, the Service Provider will contact the University to confirm the details of the successful payment made by you. On receipt of this confirmation, the University will confirm to the Student that the payment has been received and accepted by the University. In the event that the Student does not receive confirmation within fourteen (14) days of making the payment it is the responsibility of the Student to check with the University that the payment has been received and accepted.
The Student shall remain responsible for all fees until such time as confirmation is received from the University that full payment has been received and accepted, including any outstanding amounts owed to the University.
In the event that an overpayment is made in respect of any fee, the credit balance arising will be used to offset any debt or invoice on the Student’s account (whether arising from tuition, accommodation, or any other legitimate charge) in due date order. Exceptions will only be made following agreement with the Finance Customer Services Manager.
Refunds, if applicable, will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original payment.
If the Student leaves the University before they complete their programme, any entitlement to a refund of tuition fees will be made in line with the prevailing Tuition Fee Policy at any time the Student leaves.
The Conditions of Residence set out the terms for early termination of student accommodation contracts with UCLan (including any applicable refunds).
In no event will the University, its suppliers, or any other third parties mentioned on this site be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage (including without limitation, those resulting from lost profits, lost data or business interruption), arising from or in connection with your use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites.
Payment via this Online Payment Facility does not on its own indicate the existence of a contract or constitute an agreement between you and the University or the Student and the University for the provision of the services to the Student. A contract will only come into being when separate conditions for the provision of a service have been fulfilled.
Any information contained within this Online Payment Facility in respect of any fees due are provided for guidance only. The definitive amount of fees payable will be notified to the Student by the Finance department and shall be made available to the Student within a reasonable period on request.
All payment details which are entered through WorldPay are encrypted when you enter them. Communications to and from the Service Providers’ website are encrypted.
The University shall not be liable for any failure by you, the Student or any third party to properly protect data from being seen on screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such persons, either before, during or after the online payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the online payment process.
The University provides this Online Payment Facility as a service to you. The University is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy.
The University will only use information entered on this website for the following purposes:
Occasionally, the University might need to share your information with other organisations to fulfil the above purposes. The University will not otherwise sell, license or trade your personal information to others. The University does not provide your personal information to direct marketing companies or other such organisations. The University does not store your credit or debit card information after payments have been processed.
By using this facility you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions. Though the terms and conditions has been developed to take account of changes in internet technology it is subject to change and any such changes will only be notified on this page. The processing of personal data is regulated by the Data Protection Act 1998.
The terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, without giving effect to any principles of Conflicts of Laws. The English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
