Collegiate Tour
Until the introduction of the "Collegiate Golf Tour" in September 2001, competition for the young golfer at the College / University was on an "ad hoc" basis with little to no structure and a competition-to-competition agenda. For the student, competitions were based on a single 'one-off' round which does not allow the golfer to hone his or her psychological skills or produce consistency, fundamental in good performance over tournament conditions.
