I am one of the facilitators for the PG Diploma for Integrative Psychotherapy, am module leader for the Supervision programme and one of the Trainers for the IAPT Counselling for Depression Course. I have been a part time member of the Counselling & Psychotherapy Team for a number of years and continue gather knowledge and experience from colleague and the students I meet.

Full Profile

Lesley Wilson MSc is a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Qualified Supervisor and Trainer. Her time is divided between working as a Senior Lecturer with the University of Central Lancashire and as a Counsellor, Supervisor and Trainer for a private Organisation. Lesley has worked within the Private, Voluntary and Statutory Services for over 17 years. She has managed Counselling & Psychotherapy Services, has worked clinically as a Senior Counsellor for Sure Start and Lancashire Care NHS Trust, the Priory, Place2Be and a number of other Agencies. Lesley’s clinical experience is with adults and children and therefore her practice integrates a number of humanistic theoretical modalities. The fundamental philosophy which underpins all of her work acknowledges the value of a therapeutic relationship which respects and endeavours to understand the phenomenological experience of each encounter.
