Sarah is working as a medical demonstrator in the School of Medicine. She is also a junior doctor who graduated from the University of Leeds, before completing her two-year foundation training in West Yorkshire. Sarah is a member of the General Medical Council and the Anatomical Society.

Full Profile

Sarah graduated in Medicine at the University of Leeds before undertaking her foundation training in the West Yorkshire deanery working at Pinderfields General Hospital, Fieldhead Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary and St James University Hospital. Throughout this time Sarah had an interest in medical education and undertook a number of teaching duties, most notably helping to organise and deliver the Situational On-call Survival course for new foundation doctors. As a medical demonstrator Sarah works with the students on the MBBS and Medical Sciences courses through small group sessions, lectures and practicals focusing on anatomy, clinical skills and communication skills.

Teaching Activities and Responsibilities

I teach students on the Medicine and Medical Sciences courses. My primary involvement is with medical students on the medical skills and quality care programme developing, delivering and facilitating teaching sessions on clinical skills, communication skills and anatomy.
