Dan Wilkinson is a practicing technological artist, composer, & academic. He currently lectures at the University of Central Lancashire in Music and Multimedia Arts.

Dan Wilkinson is a practicing technological artist, composer, & academic.
He currently lectures at the University of Central Lancashire in Music and Multimedia Arts.
His work intersects through multi channel audio installation, electronic sculpture, multi screen video and sensor based A/V environments, through which he explores mapping and sites, crossing over from the live environment to the gallery space.
His current research is in the use of technology within sonic architecture.

Projects

The Sun at Night 2013-2014– Lead Artist Large Kinetic Sculpture that was shown in Preston’s covered Market and then appeared on BBC Stargazing Live at Royal Holloway University London

MODZ 2013 – Interactive 10 channel (audio) and 3 screen (visual) interactive A/V installation at the Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool.

Code XXX, Beyond Infinity 2014 – Interactive Site-Specific Installation at Kendal Calling Festival
