Carolyn is academic lead for Adult Nursing. Her teaching responsibilities are pre-dominantly in the pre-registration portfolio. She is the module leader for a pre-registration module.

Research interests include the use of OSCE’s and how students perceive feedback after assessment.

Carolyn is a module leader for a pre-registration module.

Carolyn qualified as a registered nurse in 1983 and subsequently worked mainly in critical care areas. She was a Sister in Intensive Care & Coronary Care. She was a Resuscitation Training Office for many years and maintains a keen interest in Resuscitation. She completed the BSc in Nursing studies in 2001.

Carolyn began her teaching career at UCLan in 2003. She gained a Master’s Degree in Health Professional Education in 2005 and subsequently became a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
