Ann Urmston is a Lecturer within the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Lancashire.

Full Profile

Ann graduated in Biology from Manchester Metropolitan University and has been involved in pharmacy education since 1997. In 2009 Ann took up an appointment as a Teacher Practitioner at the University of Central Lancashire. In 2017 Ann changed her role to Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice.

Her interests are Pharmacy Practice, Extemporaneous and Aseptic dispensing, and she co-ordinates the School’s Inter-Professional Learning and Patient Public Involvement.

Ann is also a practicing and registered Pharmacy Technician. She combines her work at the School with practice work in a Community Pharmacy.
