School of Psychology

Welcome to the School of Psychology web site. This site has been designed for a variety of users. Prospective students can access information about all our undergraduate and postgraduate Courses, and school and college teachers can see how we can enrich their educational programmes through visits and talks. Current students should find plenty of helpful material under Student Support, and if you are interested in research within the School then please take a look at our Research pages.

Psychology at UCLan is well resourced. We are housed in the modern multi-million-pound Darwin Building and have plenty of specialist laboratory space and equipment (see School Resources). We are keen to make the best use of this space through encouraging visits from local schools and colleges, and allowing both undergraduate and post-graduate students to share access with academic and research staff. These activities are supported by a team of well-organised, specialised technicians based in Darwin Building Room 339.

Psychology is within the Faculty of Science and Technology. Some administrative tasks are managed by Faculty but for most things we rely on our friendly and helpful staff in the School Office in Darwin Building Room DB120.

Feel free to look at any of the information on offer and we hope you enjoy using the site. If you would like to give us some feedback – what we are doing right, what you think needs changing - please email either Chris Anderson (MCanderson@uclan.ac.uk) or Kit Jordan (KJordan1@uclan.ac.uk).
