Fire and Leadership students at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) have climbed the height of Ben Nevis to raise money for charity.
Students on the BSc(Hons) Fire and Leadership course climbed a total height of 1344 metres using 13.5 metre ladders. The charity event raised £1500 which will be donated to the National Fire Fighters Charity, which funds rehabilitation treatments for fire fighters injured on duty.
The event took place at the end of a three week operational fire fighting course at Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service Training Centre.
