More than 4,600 students will graduate from UCLan next week

A record number of students will be graduating from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) next week.

More than 4,600 students will be donning their academic caps and gowns for the prestigious Degree and Award Ceremonies at Preston’s Guild Hall, from Monday, 14 July, to Friday, 18 July.

Two highly-acclaimed professionals will also receive Honorary Fellowships during Graduation Week in recognition of their contribution to the community.

Margaret O’Donoghue, St Catherine’s Hospice founder member and creator of Preston’s Cancer Help, will receive her award on Monday afternoon and Chris Kenny, Chief Fire Officer for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, will take to the stage on Thursday afternoon.

Two highly-acclaimed professionals will also receive Honorary Fellowships during Graduation Week in recognition of their contribution to the community.
