Adebayo Oladapo - Academic Staff

Adebayo has been an academic/project management consultant for over 30 years working in several institutions in Africa, Asia and Europe, has headed BSc/MSc courses in Nigeria and South Africa and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). He is experienced in investigating complex contract administration issues and heading a university project committee in Nigeria, and as a monitoring and evaluation consultant for the multi-billion pounds Petroleum Trust Fund Programme (PTF) of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Adebayo teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate modules across several disciplines in the schools, including project management, quantity surveying and civil engineering. Adebayo also supervises and examines PhD theses across several schools at the University of Central Lancashire.

Adebayo has many publications in reputable journals, conference proceedings and books of readings. He has researched widely in project management, construction economics, procurement and sustainability. Details of his latest book chapter.

Adebayo was the acting Head of the Department of Quantity Surveying at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and Programme Director, Property Development Programme (Quantity Surveying & Construction Management), University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa. He was the Chairman of the University Project Advisory Committee, a member of the Board of the Postgraduate College and Staff Housing Loan Committee as well as the managing editor of the Faculty of Environmental Design & Management journal at Obafemi Awolowo University. He was a senior Consultant & Head of Project Monitoring & Evaluation, Afri-Projects Consortium, Kaduna, Nigeria.
