Stuart M Pugh

Stuart Pugh studied on the BSc (Hons) Psychology course and successfully completed UCLan’s Undergraduate Research Internship Scheme in 2013.

Following this he applied to present his research at two prestigious undergraduate conferences. Stuart explained: “I was accepted to present my research findings at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR), to be hosted at the University of Nottingham, and the National Conference of Undergraduate Research (NCUR), hosted this year at the University of Kentucky in the United States.

“The research internship was a great opportunity to get involved in the psychological research the University is currently conducting whilst also giving me a great insight into what I hope will be my future career.

“The research findings are currently being written up with the hope of publication. The opportunity to present at two undergraduate conferences will help me in my pursuit to become a researcher. “
