RCS student Edd Graham-Hyde introduced an ‘End of Year Ball’ for RCS students in 2011. Edd and a fellow student, Danny Threader, organised the entire event supported by the RCS team.
UCLan’s Religion, Culture and Society (RCS) degree programme investigates the historical and contemporary effect of religion, culture and society on educational, political and social constructs. It explores conflictual relationships between major faiths, internal divisions within those faiths and the impact modernity and secularisation have had on culture, tradition and society. The course addresses contemporary issues which challenge the fundamental principles of belief systems and explore developing theology.
The RCS Ball is a totally student led experience – from its conception through planning and organisation to the management of the Ball.
