"Biomechanics in Clinic and Research" Translated into Chinese

Professor Richards has visited China and South East Asia many times in the last few years presenting the research from the Allied Health Research Unit at physical therapy and orthopaedics meetings and conferences. This is the latest in the development of our links with South East Asia and it is a great feeling to now be able to offer my book in Chinese to improve the reach of our work.

For several years now clinicians in China and South East Asia have been using the results of our research work which is directly influencing the management of knee pain. This has particularly impacted on the lives of patients with knee osteoarthritis and patellofemoral pain. This has helped the acceptance of conservative treatment and has led to improvements in the clinical options of Allied Health Professionals and Orthopaedic Surgeons. This has led to more than 1,000 patients worldwide now receiving conservative management for knee osteoarthritis since 2010 as a direct result of this work.

The Chinese version of Biomechanics in Clinic and Research was launched in November 2012 and is available from Elsevier Taiwan.
