Commonwealth Shared Scholarship 2019

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship 2019 is for MSc candidates from low and middle income Commonwealth countries to spend 12 months at a UK university as part of their doctoral studies in their home country.

Thank you for your recent application to the UCLan Commonwealth Shared Scholarship for September 2019 entry.

Whilst you await the results of the scholarship application process, we wanted to share some information about other opportunities and scholarships that we offer that you may be eligible for, should you not be successful in your Commonwealth Shared Scholarship application.

International Bursaries

An international bursary of £1,000 per year of study is available to all international students enrolling at UCLan in the academic year 2019/20*

Available to all international students with the exception of Chinese students, for whom different scholarships are available; and for those on distance learning programmes; postgraduate research programmes; Pre-sessional English language programmes or the MBBS programme.

If you are offered a place on a programme of study at the University of Central Lancashire for 2019/20, the Admissions Team will add the bursary to your offer letter, and show an appropriate reduction in the tuition fees payable. You do not need to apply for this award.
