Study at a UCLan Partner
We are proud to work in partnership with 24 UK Partner Institutions to enable more students to access higher education. Through our partnership network we offer around 200 higher education courses, to around 4,200 students each year.
Our Partner Organisations deliver a range of UCLan courses from HNC/Ds, foundation degrees, teacher training programmes, honours degrees and top-up provision. In addition to the many facilities available at their partner institution, our Partner students can also access a range of University facilities and services.
We have well-established links with our UK Partner institutions and as one of our partner students you will be in good hands and excellent company.
Each partner delivers a range of our higher education (HE) courses, allowing students to study locally for their HE award. Some partnership courses enable students to begin their studies within a partner institution and complete them at the University of Central Lancashire, while others are delivered entirely by our partners.
Many of the courses run in the partner institutions have opportunities to 'Move On' onto UCLan to complete your programme or to study for a higher qualification. For example you can top up a HNC/D or a foundation degree to an honours degree at the University.
Great reasons to become a partner student
- Locality: You can study at a partner institution local to you. Most of our partners are based in the North West region of England, offering an increased opportunity for students to access higher education closer to home.
- Campus size: Studying at one of our partner institutions will usually be on a smaller campus, and often have smaller class sizes than at a large university.
- Flexibility: Courses are available at all levels – from certificates to HNDs and foundation degrees and even some full honours degrees. For many of our courses you can study full or part time to enable you to fit your course around your lifestyle.
- Great services: In addition to the facilities at your institution, as a UCLan student, you will also have access to a range of services and facilities at our main campuses, such as membership of the Students’ Union and access to the library.
