Study at a UCLan Partner

At The University of Central Lancashire, we have been welcoming partner students for more than 30 years. On this page, you'll find a variety of information for both current and potential Partner students.

Our Partner Organisations deliver a range of UCLan courses from HNC/Ds, foundation degrees, teacher training programmes, honours degrees and top-up provision. In addition to the many facilities available at their partner institution, our Partner students can also access a range of University facilities and services.

We have links with 24 further education colleges and specialist training organisations who deliver a wide range of courses, allowing students to study locally for their higher education award.

Great reasons to become a partner student

  • Locality: You can study at a partner institution local to you. Most of our partners are based in the North West region of England, offering an increased opportunity for students to access higher education closer to home.
  • Campus size: Studying at one of our partner institutions will usually be on a smaller campus, and often have smaller class sizes than at a large university.
  • Flexibility: Courses are available at all levels – from certificates to HNDs and foundation degrees and even some full honours degrees. For many of our courses you can study full or part time to enable you to fit your course around your lifestyle.
  • Great services: In addition to the facilities at your institution, as a UCLan student, you will also have access to a range of services and facilities at our main campuses, such as membership of the Students’ Union and access to the library.
