Entry Requirements

Please note the requirements below are indicative only

Please see the following options:

Option 1

High School Diploma with weighted CGPA 3.0/4.0 minimum*1

Option 2

High School Diploma with a weighted CGPA 2.4/4.0 *1

PLUS

ONE FROM BELOW:

  • SAT 1000 from ‘Evidence Based Reading and Writing’ and ‘Math’
  • ACT 19
  • 1 AP College Board Exam at grade 3
  • Grade 11 or Grade 12 Honors level classes/AP classes (without the College Board Exam) in academic subjects grade B x 2 (two needed)
  • College class - 3 credits at grade B from an academic class. Must be shown on college transcript.

Option 3

Associate diploma/Associate degree/Junior degree holders (general or specialised) with a pass.

Our entry requirements will vary depending on the individual course and the year of entry and the below are indicative only. Any reference to typical entry qualification or grades stated on the website are provided as a guide only. There is no guarantee that applicants who have, or are predicted to achieve, grades equivalent to or exceeding typical entry qualifications or grade will be made an offer by the University of Central Lancashire.

Minimum English Language Requirements

Grade B / 80% / 3.0 GPA High School Grade 11 English

OR

Grade C / 70% / 2.0 GPA High School Grade 12 English

OR

3 credits English Class(es) at University or Community College Grade C / 70% / 2.0 GPA.

OR

AP English Language or Literature grade 3

OR

Standard English Requirements.

If your academic and/or English language qualifications are not sufficient to allow for direct entry to one of our undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes, you may wish to consider one of our Undergraduate or Master Foundation Programmes, offered at the University of Central Lancashire by ONCampus. Successful completion of this programme can guarantee entry to a wide range of programmes with us.
