Overview

The Royal Television Society (RTS) is offering a Bursary Award for people who have not previously gained a degree or other higher-education qualification. 

The Bursary offers:

  • £3,000 in cash to support your living expenses
  • Free membership of the Royal Television Society and affiliate membership of the Hospital Club.
  • One year’s free full membership of the Royal Television Society after graduation.
  • An offer of mentoring in your final year of study.

How is the value received?

£3,000 in cash to support your living expenses; paid in three instalments of £1,000 in the February of each year.

Eligibility

  • Not previously gained a degree or other higher-education qualification
  • Accepted an offer as your "firm choice" to study full-time on one of the accepted undergraduate courses (for list see: Royal Television Society website)
  • Household income of no more than £25,000
  • "Home" full-time undergraduate student 

Applicants from the EU and abroad are not eligible.
