Overview
Ashwin Kagdadia kindly provides us with £5,000 per year to help eight financially challenged students throughout the duration of their three or four-year courses. The scholarship payment is made in two instalments, in October/November and January each year.
There is no need to apply for this bursary, it is automatically applied to reduce your tuition fee.
Once you have enrolled with us you will be informed if you are eligible for the award.

To receive the £1500 award you must be:
- A UK/Home student
- 1st year undergraduate
- Pay full-time tuition fees for an on-campus course
- Have a household income of below £30,000 per annum that is assessed by your award authority and have given consent for this information to be shared by us; and
- Be studying a non-funded course, this means you must not be entitled to receive any additional government support (e.g. NHS Bursary)
- Attain high achieving grades via the UCAS ranking system - achieving a minimum of 160 UCAS points
To receive the £500 award you must be:
- A UK/Home student
- 1st year undergraduate (Level 4)
- Pay full-time tuition fees for an on-campus course
- Have a household income of below £30,000 per annum that is assessed by your award authority and have given consent for this information to be shared by us; and
- Be studying a non-funded course, this means you must not be entitled to receive any additional government support (e.g. NHS Bursary)
- Attain high achieving grades via the UCAS ranking system - achieving a minimum of 138 UCAS points

Overview

Selected eligible students will be offered the scholarship and, on accepting it, the relevant award amount will be uploaded to UCLan Achieve for the recipient to draw down funds.
