If you want to develop customer service and administrative skills and gain valuable practical experience of working in an international team, don’t miss an opportunity to get a paid internship or work as a volunteer in the Worldwise Learning Centre.
Every year the Worldwise Learning Centre looks for students to work in the Centre in the following roles:
To Support the Worldwise Learning Centre and School of Language and Global Studies during Welcome Week, at induction events and help with the International Film Festival.
To provide a point of contact and advice to visitors on the available language and culture learning resources in the Centre.
To support students studying languages on the Part-Time Languages Certificate and the Worldwise Languages programmes in the development of their conversation skills.
These positions are advertised on the Careers website at the beginning of each Semester.
Volunteering opportunities offered at the Centre are also a great chance for you to develop both personally and professionally using your knowledge of languages and cultures, your international communication skills and your experience abroad - while having a lot of fun!
