During your time at UCLan, there may be spells when you feel overwhelmed, stressed, experience difficulties with your health, housing, personal life, or studies. If you feel like this at any point or are finding things difficult in any other way, please access support and advice as early as possible.
Our dedicated teams provide guidance on issues relating to your wellbeing, and our advisors offer support and advice to all students. The advisors provide assessments, follow-up appointments, signposting, and can act as a liaison with both internal and external teams to help support you in your studies.
We offer a confidential, professional service, ensuring that you receive personal support. We recognise people as individuals, all with different needs. Our support service is extensive and we can provide advice in many areas including alcohol and drug use, addictive behaviours, safety concerns, bereavement, stalking and harassment, forced marriage, physical health needs/injuries, victims of crime, and domestic violence.
