What Support is Available?

Within our service, we have a team of experienced Inclusive Support Advisers who are here to work with disabled students in higher education to ensure that you get the best support possible whilst studying here at UCLan.

A range of support can be offered to suit individual needs as recommended in your Needs Assessment Report. We work with you and your tutors to devise appropriate examination and assessment arrangements for throughout the duration of your course.

Our specialist Inclusive Support Coordination team work in conjunction all Non-Medical Help providers to provide a wide range of additional professional learning resources. Arrangements are made on an individual basis according to your own needs. Working closely with Inclusive Support Advisers, dedicated teams co-ordinate these services to ensure that provisions are made for you as early as possible. We anticipate future needs and expand services accordingly in line with disability legislation and codes of practice.
