Tutorials are a series of 20 minute meetings with one of the Academic English tutors from the Language Academy. These tutorials are tailored to support your individual needs; we will work with you to discover what you need support with and you will see your tutor a number of times to work on your chosen areas of study. You can be supported with a specific assignment, or with your general Academic English. You can be referred for tutorials by your tutor or you can do it yourself - referrals are done via the Starfish application on the Student Support pages.
Please note, tutorials are requested by referral on Starfish, either by a course tutor or self-referral.
The free English classes are for students and members of the public who do not speak English as their first language. Facilitated by the TESOL team at UCLan, the classes range from Elementary and Pre-intermediate levels to Upper-Intermediate and Advanced.
For information on class times and locations, please contact TESOL@uclan.ac.uk.
