If English is not your first language you can choose to study an English Language module
to improve your skills throughout the academic year. Year-long modules are available in
Upper-Intermediate and Advanced English. All events are supported by a team specialist academics of English Language in the Language Academy who are trained to assess and help with your personal language needs.
The UCLan TESOL team (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages) also offer General English Classes supported by trainee teachers under supervision, which are available to members of the public as well as students. The free English classes are for students and members of the public who do not speak English as their first language. Facilitated by the TESOL team at UCLan, the classes range from Elementary and Pre-intermediate levels to Upper-Intermediate and Advanced.
