URIP

Research internships are a great opportunity for students. They offer experience of working on 'authentic research' projects alongside members of staff that lead to real research outcomes. As a student intern you will gain a range of new skills both academically and personally, you get to see how world class research is conducted and it's a great addition to your CV!

The UCLan Undergraduate Research Internship Programme (UURIP) is an 8 week programme, which runs full-time over the summer months each year All intern positions are paid at National Living Wage.

Second and final year students only.

Applications open on 5 April 2019. Deadline 5 May 2019.

Help with applications – You can use our drop in service which you can attend anytime during working hours in Foster Building where our Careers Officers will be able to look through your application with you.

You can apply for a maximum of three projects. You must submit a separate application for each project you apply for (a lot if the information will be completed automatically).

If you are shortlisted, the manager of the project will contact you to arrange an interview. Interviews are likely to take place towards the end of May, with a start date of 24 June. These posts are all 8 weeks, full time posts.
