International Support

The International Office provides advice and support for both international students and UK/EU students with aspirations for travel or study overseas.

Our support staff can provide guidance on options for studying abroad (including the University’s ’Study Abroad Exchange Programme’), applying for travel bursaries, and support for immigration and visa applications.

Welcome to all international students in 2020!
Student Services have compiled a handy welcome guide, with information on online shopping and online banking to help you settle into life here at UCLan.

Study Abroad

UCLan has exchange agreements with almost 100 universities from around the world, whether it’s Europe through the Erasmus+ scheme, our Worldwide Exchange programme where we have partners in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Hong Kong or ISEP, which offers up the rest of the world.

Immigration and visa information

The Student Immigration Compliance Team (SICT) and the Student Support Team in The <i> are here to provide advice and guidance on Student Route immigration issues and can also advise students who are studying at UCLan on a Short Term Study Visa (STSV)

Worldwide Exchange

Our Worldwide Exchange Programme allows international students to study at UCLan and UCLan students to experience life at an overseas university.

International Student Exchange Programme (ISEP)

The International Student Exchange Programme (ISEP) is an international network that encourages student exchanges all around the world. These exchanges allow students to ‘swap’ places with other students at universities that are also members of ISEP

Erasmus Study

Erasmus+ is a European Mobility Programme that enables you to study in Europe. UCLan has links with over 65 European partners, in 19 countries through the Erasmus+ scheme. Erasmus+ provides a financial grant for students to carry out a work placement in countries across Europe.
