The Work Based Learning Team works in partnership with placement partners across the North West of England in a designated placement circuit for all standard scheduled placements.

Every placement allocated is quality audited prior to placement approval and subsequently at least every 18 months to ensure the learning outcomes of relevant programmes can be achieved and offers valuable learning opportunities that meet the requirements of relevant regulatory & statutory bodies. Where programmes have been designed to facilitate students completing placements outside of this circuit (e.g. elective, negotiated or alternative placements) these are specified with the programme specific placement information where detail of the quality assurance process which needs to be undertaken prior to such placements being approved is detailed.

The Work Based Learning Team works hard to ensure that students gain experience that reflects the ever-changing demands of their individual profession/career to ensure students can develop as adaptable and flexible practitioners fit for practice at the time of graduation.
