Supporting Documents

You MUST read these documents before submitting an application:

UCLan Graduate Internships

UCLan Internships

With a UCLan Internship, you will work within the university to gain practical experience, applying the skills you developed during your degree and enhancing your understanding of the work environment. In addition to the invaluable experience you will gain there is an integrated support programme embedded into each internship. You will also be allocated a Career Mentor, to help you get the best out of your journey.

Many of the roles are open to a wide range of degree subjects, so please check through the entire list for roles which may be of interest to you. For example, a role listed under “Marketing” may require a graduate with good writing skills, not necessarily a Marketing degree.

UCLan Internships are flexible in terms of hours and duration, as much as we can be, depending on the needs of the applicant.

Accessing the Internships

You can log into our system using the link below. You should select the 'Graduate' sign in button and upon your first use of the system you will need to click the option to reset your password. When it asks for your username this is still your UCLan username and as an email address you should enter your personal email address (that was on file at UCLan). You will then be able to select to receive a password reset email. If you are struggling to access the system there are detailed step by step instructions in the document below.

Internships with External Organisations

Alongside the UCLan Internships, we are also working with external organisations in the North West to provide graduates with work experience. You will still have access to additional support, whilst working for a local employer who is looking for a graduate to enhance their work force.

Support for Enterprise Development and Self Employment

Be Enterprising and Innovative with the help of UCLan’s incubation and Enterprising Students Team!

Our programme is open to interns / graduates and students from all backgrounds and disciplines who want to take a creative approach to gaining confidence for developing and assessing ideas for work projects or business and social ventures. The programme is great for interns who want to develop their enterprise skills and become more confident and competitive in the work environment. We can also help those who have written a business plan and want to start a business.
