The university provides a number of support services that can help you with any aspect of your student life.

Student Services Resources

Our Student Services booklets and videos are a useful resource for all UCLan students.
The Student Services Resource Centre provides key advice and support on managing your money, dealing with homesickness, being a carer, estranged student or care leaver, LGBT+, exam stress, anxiety, sexual assault, domestic violence, homelessness and much more.

Travel advice for students

This section has emergency information for students who need assistance while travelling overseas, including medical emergencies, if you have lost your passport, need insurance advice, or have missed your flight.

Law Clinic

The Lancashire Law School are very pleased to be able to offer a FREE legal advice service. The Free Law Clinic is an advice only clinic operated by students currently studying at the Lancashire Law School. The students advise under close supervision of qualified solicitors.

The 'i'

The <i> is the student information and support centre here at UCLan. We have a team of dedicated staff made up of experienced customer support advisers and recent graduates, who are on hand to provide you with advice, support and guidance during your time at university.

SU Advice Centre

Our advisors are here to offer free advice in a professional but friendly, relaxed environment.

Mediation Clinic

The Mediation Clinic has been set up by students for students and offers mediation services free of charge. Mediation is a tool used to deal with conflict and disagreements, for example problems with your housemates or issues with coursemates.

Student carers

Students who declare their caring responsibilities to Student Services will be supported in a number of ways. For a student who has caring responsibilities, trying to transition to, through and beyond university, can be extremely challenging and we are here to help.
