Access for Special Collections users is by appointment only. Use of the materials will be restricted to Askew House, the new home of the Special Collections and will be supervised by a member of the Library Collection Management staff.
If you would like to look at any of the materials, please complete the enquiry/appointment form and email as an attachment to FacultyLibrarians@uclan.ac.uk. We will be back in touch to confirm the appointment and clarify any questions with you.
When making an appointment:
Please give as much information about what you want to use and when you need to access it.
If there are a number of alternative days/times you can visit please let us know.
If you found the item using the Library Catalogue, include information from that record in your email.
In order to ensure we can have staff available and that we are clear about your needs, please give at least 5 working days notice before you intend to make your visit.
If you would like to take photographs of any of the collection please speak to one of the Archives team prior to doing so.
