Study spaces for students

Study Rooms in the Library can be reserved online

Students - you can book a study space in the Library to make sure you'll have a quiet place to work or suitable space for practicing presentations/group work. You can book a student study space online using our room booking service for the Group Study Rooms.

November 2020 - Study rooms are currently unavailable due to essential maintenance, please use the other workstation facilities on the ground, second and third floors

Group Study Rooms

The group study rooms are on the second floor of the Library.

  • 28 rooms available
  • Bookable for 2 hours at a time
  • Rooms have a webcam, plasma screen,whiteboard and computer
  • Best suited for working in groups (rooms are available for up to four or eight people) - 2 or more people must use the room or you will lose your booking
  • Record and playback presentations, or record group discussions and ideas

No need to book

There is plenty of open-access study space in the Library. There is no need to book:

  • Group study zone
  • Silent study areas
  • Quiet study areas
  • Design suite

You will find a range of desk styles, some with PCs, some with power for your laptop and others that have clear table space.
