If you are studying at one of our other sites, or at another campus, then these pages are for you. They detail the services we provide for you that are different from those at the main Preston campus.
We provide services at the following campuses:
The library at UCLan's Burnley Campus offers much more than just books, we have a wide range of relevant materials to support your course.
The UCLan Cyprus Library offers a range of materials in multiple subject areas. Facilities include a silence area, a training room and a study area equipped with computers, laptops, printers and copiers.
Each Dental Education Centre has been allocated with a core set of learning resources to enable students to study during their clinical training time.
Dental students spend their first year studying on campus in the new purpose-built school at UCLan, before relocating for three years’ clinical training at one of four newly-established Dental Education Centres (DECs) in Accrington, Blackpool, Carlisle and Morecambe Bay.
To enable students to study during this time each DEC has been allocated with a core set of learning resources. The Clinical training aspect of the course is validated as a distance learning course and dental students are entitled to the extra services we provide for distance learners.
Students qualify under the distance learner service for a wide range of resources.
UCLan students studying at Westlakes are eligible for registration with the Distance Learning Service, and have online access to the full range of electronic resources available over the internet, including e-books, e-journals and e-databases.
