Dentistry Request Forms

If you are based  away from the Preston Main Campus you can request postal loans of printed books using the  Dentistry Book & Journal Request Service



Search for books and eBooks on Library Search.  It will tell you what we have in stock and where to find it.

Print books can be found in the Preston Library with many available for reference at the DECS.

eBooks can be accessed and read online wherever you are located.

If you want to search for journal articles on a particular topic within dentistry the main electronic journals database to search is:

  • Dentistry and Oral Sciences Source - this database covers all areas of dentistry including dental public health, endodontics, facial pain & surgery, odontology, oral & maxillofacial pathology/surgery/radiology, orthodontology, paediatric dentistry, periodontology, and prosthodontics.

SAGE Research Methods - is a tool created to help researchers, faculty and students with their research projects. It contains content from more than 640 books, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, and handbooks, the entire 'Little Green Book', and 'Little Blue Book' series, two major works collating a selection of journal articles, and newly commissioned videos.
