UCLan Library Click and Collect Service

We are pleased to announce that the UCLan Library Click and Collect service is now available.

Who can use this service?

The UCLan Library Click and Collect service is available to UCLan staff and students who study at Preston Main Campus or UCLan Burnley.

What books can I order?

You can order books which are currently available on the library shelves. These will be picked off the shelves for you and you can collect them from the ground floor of the library. If the book you require is available online, we would advise you to access the eBook.

How does it work?

It’s easy to place your order. Follow the instructions below:
1. Go to Library Search and sign in
2. Find a book and click on the title
3. Scroll down to ‘Borrow it’ and select ‘Request’
4. Then click ‘send request’
5. You will receive an email notification with further instructions.

Where do I collect my books from?

You can collect your books from the Library Ground Floor. You will need to use the machines to issue them.

When can I collect my books?

You can collect your books from the Library.

How long will you hold my order for?

We will hold the books for you for 7 days.

Can I reserve books that are currently on loan?

All current loans are not due back until the 28 November 2020 so, for now, items which are out on loan are not available through the click and collect service. You will be able to place reservations for items which are on loan when term starts.
