UCLan Wireless Service

UCLan Wireless is available free to and staff and students. It can be accessed throughout all building on campus, including certain UCLan Halls of Residences and bars around campus.

Can I connect to UCLan Wireless in my Halls?

UCLan-Wireless is available in the list of Halls of Residence to the right.

The wireless network access is also available across all the buildings on campus and allows you to access our range of remote services.

Wireless Equipment Standard

All Wireless around campus supports a minimum of 802.11abg

Lecture theatres, teaching and other learning rooms, study spaces, the Library and the student residences all have 802.11n or 802.11ac. Any replacement equipment will always be 802.11ac
