We all have mental health which needs care and attention even when things are going well and taking care of it becomes even more important in difficult circumstances.
Mindfulness is a way of taking care of ourselves. It promotes kindness, understanding and compassion towards our own self and can be weaved in to aspects of our daily lives.
Mindfulness is about paying attention to the here and now by using what we can hear and see, or feel, in the world around us. It is about being curious about our experiences and our responses to them.

Mindfulness sessions are held each Wednesday 12noon to 1pm starting on 20 January 2021 through to 31 March 2021.
The Counselling Service offers regular Mindfulness drop in sessions for students on Wednesdays at 12pm via Teams. Students just need to email Crecep@uclan.ac.uk and put Mindfulness in the subject line.
