UCLan Acts of Kindness Day 2018

Event Details

Save the date: UCLan is hosting its third annual Acts of Kindness Day on Thursday 11 October

The aim of UCLan AOK Day is to act as a reminder of the value of kindness and provides an opportunity for our students, staff and members of the public to do something to make our campus and local community an even kinder and friendlier place to be.
Whether you plan it or are inspired to do something spontaneous, just carry out a kind act and make someone’s day!
Volunteers required to help out on the day - please contact Amy-Louise Thompson.

AOK DAY KINDNESS CHAMPION AWARDS

It's time to recognise those people who brighten up your day and can make UCLan a better place to be.  Please take some time out to nominate a member of staff or a student - we are looking for people who are:

- consistently kind
- go above and beyond
- understand that sometimes it's the small things which can make a difference
- are willing to help, often without being asked.

Award winners will also receive a pair of Virgin Train tickets, worth up to £350, which can be used on any West Coast Main Line service between London and Edinburgh.

Place your nominations now, giving examples - closing date Friday 5 October.

All nominees will be notified - come along to Harrington and Greenbank Social Space at 1.00pm on AOK Day to find out who the winners are.
