In the event that you suspect or have been diagnosed with an infectious disease that the NHS need to know about, the University has a well-established protocol in place. This ensures that all internal and external parties work together to support you and minimise the spread of the infection. Diseases of this nature are listed on the Public Health England reportable diseases list and would include for example: coronavirus, measles, mumps, meningitis, hepatitis, Cholera, TB, SARS, Ebola, Scarlet Fever.
If you suspect you may have one of these diseases, please phone the NHS on 111. If you have been diagnosed, please do not come to University. Follow the advice you have been given by the NHS and only return when you are well. Please email email@example.com to let us know the details and also advise your Course Leader by email.
