Student Life

Campus Security

There are security guards on campus at all times, and regular patrols of the area. Assistance can always be found at the Gatehouse, located to the back of the building at the car park entrance.

To assist Security in their work, UCLan Cards should be displayed at all times on a lanyard around students' necks. Lanyards can be collected from The 'i'.

It is not permitted to wear hats, hoods or face coverings on campus. Full information about the Campus Code of Conduct can be found here.

Students' Union

The Students’ Union (SU) is an independently run body that represents the interest of UCLan students.

You can visit the Students' Union Resource Centre on the Burnley Campus in Room C1.10. The Students' Union is a great place to chill out in between lectures and make use of the kitchen facilities to make a brew or heat up your lunch, and you can also speak to the SU about setting up clubs and societies, and putting on events.
