Research summary

Project title: The processing of social cues in schizophrenia: explorations using eye movements

My research focuses on exploration of perception of social cues in schizophrenia using eye-tracker.

Schizophrenia is a complex mental illness, which is related to many psychological symptoms, including hallucinations, delusions, social withdrawal, and difficulties processing emotions. My work focuses on how schizophrenia affects the processing of emotional tone in visual scenes, using eye-tracking methodology to assess the allocation of attention in visual perception.
