Yasmeen joined CVCL in 2006 and has completed various roles within the Centre. She is currently a lecturer on the BA (Hons) Community Leadership and Foundation Degree in Community Leadership. Yasmeen also supports the management of volunteers and their placements as well as coordinate the Global Youth Leaders Programme.
Yasmeen graduated from UCLan in 2003 and has since taken a keen interest in working with young people from marginalized groups. She has acted as an advocate for young people in care as well as gaining qualifications in mentoring young offenders. She currently coordinates the Global Youth Solutions Programme which is aimed at young people to take a lead on identifying and actively planning solutions to community issues. The programme is delivered nationally and internationally to countries such as Turkey, Pakistan and Oman.
