Key responsibilities include: -

  • Providing leadership and contributing to the operational management of the Division of Accounting & Finance and represents the academic discipline of Accounting and Finance within the Lancashire Business School and externally
  • Member of the School Leadership Team and take school-wide functional responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining an attractive course portfolio with sector-leading content and learning approaches 
  • Leading the academic team to achieve the performance targets set
  • Supporting the academic quality processes within the School by managing assessment boards and reviewing student cases
  • Supporting the development of the research profile of the discipline, alongside senior researchers
  • Supporting the courses for which the division is responsible, and programmes requiring input from the division, and lead the academic team to play a full part in the learning & teaching development and quality assurance & enhancement of each programmes
